IPC: What we do

The Institute of Pastoral Counselling aims to provide high-quality professional counselling training which takes seriously Christian theology and spirituality.

We are currently doing this in three ways.

Firstly, we provide counselling training to Diploma level for those who have completed a foundational counselling skills course or who have relevant equivalent experience. Our Diploma is validated by the University of Wales at Lampeter. For details of the Diploma in Pastoral Counselling, see the Training section.
Secondly, we offer Continuing Professional Development in the form of a series of one or two day workshops. See the Training section.
Thirdly, we respond to invitations from agencies or groups of counsellors who want to explore the interface between their professional practice and their faith to run Day Seminars (see the Events section).
