Mogs is co-Director of the Institute of Pastoral Counselling. Originally a teacher, she went on to work as a pastoral counsellor and counselling trainer. Her career has included being Unit Director for Human Relations Training at Wilson Carlile College of Evangelism (Church Army), school project manager for the Place2be and an executive member of the Association for Pastoral and Spiritual Care and Counselling.

Mogs is presently an Accreditation Assessor for the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, an FE College Chaplain and a Methodist Local Preacher. She is studying for an MA in Pastoral Theology and is particularly interested in the provision of good quality supervisory support for all those offering pastoral care as part of their professional role. Alongside her fascination for the embodied spirituality of Julian of Norwich, she seeks to foster and learn from the spirituality of children and young people.
